had hard time thinking what happened to his parents.
Suddenly he remembered about his elder sister Nicky and ran to
her room, she wasn't there either.
Oh, he thought, all are gone with Jesus but why I alone am left
behind?
Why Jesus did not take me home with Him?
His heart sank, he felt very bad.
He started remembering Nicky's words, "Jesus will not take
you heaven if you speak lies... if you steal pencil of other kids in
school... if you... if you... Those words seemed echoing in his ears and
making fun of him.
He ran next door neighbor's home.. and the most shocking thing
was he could not see anybody there.
He thought oh, all my friends are gone.. why I alone am left
here? Why? He
could not bear anymore. He fell on his knees and started sobbing and
praying, Lord Jesus, Please forgive me, please, please take me home with
you, please...
He woke up with the voice of her mother asking, "What
happened Johnny, why are you crying?"
Still sobbing, he asked, "Where we are, in heaven?"
His mother smiled and said, no we are in this world.
Johnny told all the dream he had few moments back and promised
his mother to please God so that he will not be left behind. My
dear little friends, do you know that Jesus is going to come anytime?
Are you ready to go with Him?
If not ask Jesus to come into your heart.
Walk in His ways and He will never let you down. Science
and Bible II Leviticus
11:7, 'and
the swine, though it divides the hoof, having cloven hooves, yet does not chew
the cud, is unclean to you. God
gave laws to Moses in which He prohibited few things not to eat.
What was the reason of it?
Pig or swine lives in filth and eats filth.
Because he lives in filth and eats filth his body contains worms.
If half cooked meat was eaten it can be very dangerous or life
threatening. Tapeworm
and other worms can be transmitted through pork flesh to human body.
His body contains poison in the shape of trichina or pork worms which
gradually destroy humans.
These worms starts breeding in the walls of the stomach and intestine.
It spreads to spine and brain and there is no cure for it. Bible
says in
Leviticus 11:9-11, 'These you may eat of all that are in the water: whatever in
the water has fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the rivers; that you
may eat. But all in the seas or in the rivers that do not have fins and scales,
all that move in the water or any living thing which is in the water, they are
an abomination to you.
They shall be an abomination to you; you shall not eat their flesh, but
you shall regard their carcasses as an abomination. Finfish's
cholesterol level is quite low.
Finfish are good for health.
Our body need nine amino acids which our body does not produce so we need
it from foods.
Finfish have all the nine amino acids and the best part is the its
protein is
highly digestible.
Not only that finfish are low in fat, less than 5%, and, in many cases,
less than 1% fat.
While the cholesterol in shrimp varies considerably by specie, it
generally is 1-1/2 to 2 times higher than in the dark meat of chicken. Isn't
it amazing that Moses who might have never studied biology, medical science etc.
wrote in detail what is prohibited and what is not! But
those who followed these laws they were so cautious about their religious duties
that they forgot that there is a God and we must give first place to God not to
the rituals. They
followed the rules very minutely but could not follow God or walk in the holy
ways of God. Jesus
said to them in Matthew
15:17-20, "Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes
into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the
mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries,
fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which
defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man." And our evil thoughts and evil deeds can only be eliminated by the blood of Jesus which was shed on the cruel cross. _______________________________________ |
