From Sherly's Desk:
Solar eclipse occurs when moon passes between sun and earth.  Two days back a rare solar eclipse occurred in South Africa when moon came between the sun and earth.  NASA sent the team of scientist to study the effect of solar eclipse on wild life of South Africa.  When the moon came between sun and earth, darkness fell on trees, animals, lions etc.  This total solar eclipse took place in different parts of the world form Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Mozambique and across the Indian Ocean to Australia.  Day suddenly turned to night as moon moved in front of sun.

Some scientist wondered seeing that the eyes of birds and animals are not damaged though they watch the solar eclipse with their naked eyes but it damages the eyes of human being if they watch without sunglasses.  Is it not wonderful how the amazing world is created by God?  We human being can only watch the spectacular events and marvel how it happens.   Many things are still a mystery and mind boggling for scientists and common people.  David says in Psalms 139:14, “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.”
